Doesn't work as promised

The system is pretty easy to install. I needed the system in order to water the plants while on vacation. Bought a large water container and figured out the system output after I ran it manually and calculated how much litres / minute it pumped. Calculated the frequency of operation for the pump so the water will be enough for a whole week. When I came back from the vacation, all the plants were dying and the water container empty.
Filled again and programed the system to work less frequently (6 seconds every 3 hours), however came the next day and the 5 gallon container was empty.... then I filled again with water, and noticed the pump was still releasing water even though it was turned off.
Very disappointed

This little pump was great at first, but after a couple months, I noticed that water would sometimes siphon backward through it, and it would also lose its prime between pumping intervals. Eventually, it stopped moving any water altogether. You can hear it trying, but I assume there’s a bad seal somewhere inside, letting air into the works. Disappointed, and unsure what to do for a replacement.

Setup was easy. I liked everything about it. I set it up to water 10 plants while we went away. I did it 2 days before we left. Did a test run and all was fine.
Got up the next morning to find this unit had siphoned about a gallon of water out of the bucket into the closest plant causing it to overflow and wet the floor.
What a mess. So, we cleaned it up and tossed this unit away. It was not trustworthy!

Ran 25 seconds all the lines filled with water then quit pumping. Checked lines. Everything open but pump was running but checked the outlet and inlet no air inlet or outlet movement. Pump don't work. Junk. Cost more to return it than it's worth. Just throw it away an save your money

After placing one splitter to water three plants, only two get water and the third barely drips because pump is weak. Box shows 6 plants (false). Tried all methods ( putting splitter the beginning, middle, end) but still weak even with new batteries. Don’t recommend this product.
