Great for dogs to prevent sunburn.

It fit perfectly on our 15# Coton de Tulear. When dogs get trimmed for the summer they can get sunburned and this is exactly what I wanted for him.

My very dark chocolate rescue Frenchie has had heat stroke 2 times in the 6 months we’ve had her (terrifying experience). We live in Florida, so not the best place for dogs that tend to stroke out. We have to limit outings because of her overheating so easily. When this cooling jacket popped up on my Vine offerings I decided to order it. I was very skeptical of a thin layer of fabric doing anything for her. I got our my handy inferred thermometer and let her sunbath for about 5 minutes. When I saw “HI” as the reading, rather then a number I was shocked! I know that means her fur temp in the sun was over 110 degrees (highest temp my thermometer goes to). I put the wetted jacket on her, let her sit in the sun for another few minutes and rechecked and the temperature of the jacket was 94.5 degrees! You can see the video of temp change between her exposed rear and the jacket. It’s pretty amazing really! We’re excited to try an let her play outside with her rescue sisters while wearing her fancy new cooling shirt.
We ordered the xxl. Her normal size in most other dog clothes is a medium. The belly band fits, but the neck is too tight (I will need to add some velcro to extend it, not a huge deal). She is a bulldog, and her neck is larger then the the measurements on the size guide, so I wasn’t surprised. The aqua color is very pretty and looks great with her chocolate fur.

Current price is $19.99 which appears to be a good price for the product.

I'm disappointed he grew out of it so quickly, but he was just a puppy when we first got this.

Being a doodle, sometimes he gets pretty hot, but he still wants to be outside where all the action is.

A quick dip in the pool and wring-out, and it keeps him cool (at least, as far as we can tell, because he's happy) even when the sun is oppressive.

The construction seems ok and the sizing is about what you'd expect. I feel like if you want to try this type of clothing on your dog then this is a solid choice.
