It says it's bluetooth capable and that is technically true. But it doesn't run on batteries so the suggestion to use it with your mobile phone is kind of hard to do. Other than that, it's a solid set of speakers. They're slightly bigger than I thought they would be but that's on me.
The sound quality is perfect and it gets as loud as I need it to compared to my old speakers. And with the ability to change the LEDs to different colors and such, I can 'sync' it with my keyboard and desktop tower to glow the same colors which is a neat effect. In the complete dark which is how I do a lot of my gaming though sometimes it looks like a face (see pictures). That's just a fun tidbit though.
I suggest these as an option if you have limited desk space but still want a good sound, just be aware of the fact they aren't true wireless/bluetooth.
I use them with my internet radio by the bed. These little things sound amazing and look pretty cool too! Bonus that they are powered by USB and don't have to run a wire to an outlet or power strip. Thanks for a great product!
The stereo has an audio interface and a USB interface. And it can be connected through Bluetooth or wiring. There is a simple RGB lamp conversion mode, overall bass bias. The only drawback is that the boot sound always scares me, and I don't know how to turn it off
good sound quality, good lighting quality also has multiple lighting modes, non slip pads on the bottom, over all quality construction, and not to bulky worth the money. only negative is the volume control is not the best.
These have a nice punchy sound for the price. They were easy to hookup and the light show they give goes very well with my Alienware setup. I use it mainly for Flight Simulation, so I didn't need audiophile quality speakers, just something that sounds good and looks good for those times I am not using a headset. These exceeded my expectations. They are solidly built and take up minimal space. Also, no power brick to worry about...just power with usb.
UPDATE: After using these with a couple different computers, they are ok, but the volume is very limited. I tried all the settings on my computer/windows and adjustments with the G1000, including using usb or phone plug. It is all the same. You can hear it, but if the source material is too low, you have no room to turn it up. I have it running at max volume all the time. The only time I have any headroom is with headphones, and even that is not a lot.
Everything about them is the same as described. The sound quality is much better than my old speakers. Free switching between music mode and game mode. The colored lights are cool. My friend came to my house last Sunday, and he said he aslo wanted an awesome stuff like this on his desk. I did recommend them to him.
