first time ever using a spigen case and well value for money alone id give it 5* but there is more to it then just that overall it does add an extra bit of chunk to the iPhone but that's expected from all cases but i did have some difficulties removing the phone from the case as a general test this could work out in favour or against and well I'm undecided overall so i give it 4* because of this and only because of this
id still say its a solid overall case and with it being clear depending on the 13 Pro you get it kind of does allow you to still show it off
This case looks like a generic plastic clear case, but this is a tough and hard case. It was surprisingly difficult to apply on my iPhone 13 Pro, very little flex and I was worried about scratching the stainless steel sides of the phone, but it came on the phone securely without a scratch. The case comes with plastic protection to ensure it is clear when you receive it. All the buttons and openings are the correct size and places on the phone.
1 star docked because of the initial difficulty putting it on, otherwise it's another great case from Spigen.
Update (12 October 2021) - Case still holds up well as expected, fantastic level of grip with this case and so easy to hold the iPhone 13 Pro in any handheld position as required. The case does soften up a bit as you remove the iPhone for cleaning maintenence and reinsert inside the case. After experiencing this my rating has gone up to 4.5 stars.
I’ve had Spigen cases in the past for most phones, opting for the clear version where possible.
This one is a bit of a let down though.
It’s bulky and makes the phone even larger to hold and handle. There is no doubt that this case is tough, and I’m sure it would do a fantastic job of protecting the phone but there are better options available that offer the same level of protection in a less bulky design.
For reference, the case adds around 3mm of clear plastic around the edges.
Works well. Fits well not as grippy as some cases. But I can attest you can wipe with isopropyl alcohol to sanitise the phone and no issues. The back is hard plastic, would have preferred the same rubber all way round but that’s just me. I’ve butter fingered the iPhone 13 pro twice and the case has saved any damage and also protected the same companies glass screen protector. Protects the camera section in a drop too unless your unlucky enough to drop on a gravel drive.
I know Spiegen products are made in China, but the company is still German and I trust their quality. I have been using their cases and screen protector for years. Probably since iPhone 4? And am always impressed. This clear case shows off the new Sierra Blue of the 13 Pro too. Oh you must buy Spiegen's screen protector. It has the most ingenious bracket that makes putting on the glass screen protector child's play.
Claims to be compatible with MagSafe - is not at all compatible with MagSafe. Their incorrect advertising costs me £4 in return fees - I paid £15.99 for this item, but Amazon want to refund me £11.99. Consumer rights are clearly not protected in this case. Do not recommend
