I bought these for my daughter-in-law who travels for work. Her suitcase was lost at Heathrow for 2 MONTHS. She was so surprised and happy. I scored big points on this one! I would have thought she'd has some but she didn't. I'm getting a set for my husband and I.

for Bluetooth these are very reliable and water proof.
dog goes swimming with them on. still works
Owl took one off a cat and found it about a mile away.

Tile is very unreliable and short distance due it using Amazon devices to detect. Samsung uses their phone network which appears to be larger than Apples, or at least more reliable.

Used on vehicles i own to track and work prefectly.

I have used other trackers over the past 5 to 7 years and I have found that these Samsung SmartTag+ trackers are undoubtedly the best ones I have used so far. So far they have always been accurate when I've needed to use them. I absolutely love the button on the tracker that allows me to find my phone if I have my tracker and also set custom uses for the button such as turning on all the smart lights in my house or opening my garage door through the smart things app on my phone. All I need to do is double click or hold the button to accomplish whatever I set those functions to.

The feature of finding your device when you are close by is also excellent. It allows you to look through your phone screen and it will point in the direction that you need to turn to find your tracker. When you are pointing in the correct direction, it will highlight the actual location of the device and show you exactly how far away from it you are.

My girlfriend has the Apple tracker that copied this one and I can honestly say that the Apple one is not nearly as good as this one.

I have four of these trackers connected to different devices and the battery life for all four of them has been very excellent. I believe I have only had to change the battery on one of them, which was the first one I purchased over a year ago. I can't tell you the exact battery life of them, as I'm sure it depends on usage, but in my case they last at least a year before needing a new battery.

If you are considering a Samsung SmartTag tracker, go with the plus version as it has more features and searches using a different technology that can pinpoint the device much more accurately then the older version. For the price difference it is absolutely worth it to get those added functions.

I would like ro say more but these tracking tags just arrived. I have not used anything similar in the past. I ordered them as we experienced lost luggage at United Airlines. I will say the app is fairly easy to follow until you try to share them with your family members, instructions are not straightforward. They arrived with batteries half-way expended. I think this is all that we can honestly rate as they are so new to us.

Realmente creí que la red de samsung a diferencia de apple sería más pequeña y por tanto más difícil de encontrar el dispositivo a grandes distancias. En una ciudad mediana-grande la verdad no tuve problemas al poder rastrearlo, el historial me mostró su ubicación varias veces e incluso el tiempo que estuvo detenida en algún lugar. Debes de asegurarte que tu teléfono sea samsung y sea compatible con la aplicación smartthings. Yo no verifiqué eso y el mío no era compatible con la app según la tienda, pero la bajé fuera de la playstore y la instalé. De pura suerte si era compatible y funcionaba, a pesar que la tienda no me dejaba descargarla y decía que no era compatible. Así mismo si quieres usar toda la funcionalidad de la versión plus del smarttag, obligatoriamente debes de tener uno de los mejores teléfonos de samsung, pues solo como 4 de ellos te permitirán acceder a ciertas funciones.
