I have only had it for a day, but i am already impressed with how small the unit is and that it truly holds a charge. I had ordered a unit from HoMedics that was supposedly portable, but still requires me to plug it in to work which makes it bulky and not great for travel use.
I appreciate how quiet it is on the lowest fan speed, but the other two speeds are a bit louder than i was expecting.
The ease and ability to change filters also were features that i was looking for in a portable filter, and the quick turn-lock on the bottom exceeds my expectations!
Another feature i appreciate about the unit it that it is cute- it can already be awkward to bring an air filter places, but the design is chique and the color options allow for coordination which does actually help me feel like its more 'normal' to have it with me! and like i am not hauling around some questionable device.
Overall i would rate the product a 4.5 of 5 stars, just based on how loud the highest setting can be.
I've bought three of these. Originally, I'd bought 2 to take to work because I'm scent-sensitive and, well, there's a lot of scented lotion, cologne and perfume use. I'm tired of getting headaches, which can easily turn into migraines, so in desperation, I ordered these.
It's an open office, so the purifiers have to work against that. They are unable to eliminate the scents entirely, but they can help lower it a bit. And if I put one on either side of my desk, they create a kind of "bubble" of muted scents. It can help, but their effectiveness really depends on how strong everything is, and how sensitive my sense of smell is that day (it's already very strong, but sometimes it's heightened due to certain things). I really didn't expect perfection from them, so no disappointment there. They're doing the best they can.
Battery life isn't too bad at first, but over time they don't last as long. I'd expected that time to be longer, but the blue one is only a year old and a charge is now only lasting 45 minutes on high, and a little over an hour on low. The black and pink ones are still lasting nearly 4 hours on one charge on high, so that's about what they were when I got them. I run them on high at work mostly due to how much they have to do.
They do seem to filter well. I change the filters about every 2 months, and they're always full of stuff. My office is connected to a warehouse, so it's dirty in there. Also, they may be a bit loud to some people, but I love white noise, so I'm good with it.
All in all, when the 2 I'm still using start to give up, if they're still available, I'll probably buy them again.
This travel HEPA filter device is smaller than I expected, which is great. It's about the size of a can of soda, just slightly taller. It's light and fits easily into travel bags. At the lowest setting (there are 3), it is almost noiseless. The handle is snap-on - I find that it's easier to pack without the handle. I bought an extra filter for it (it comes with one already). I've travelled domestically and internationally with it - you must remember to bring it on your carry-on rather than check-in because it has a battery inside. The ONLY complaint I have with it, after 2 months of use, is that the button in front that turns it on easily gets bumped during travel. Once it turned on in my backpack by itself. My workaround was to tape a metal key ring around the button so that I can still press it but the clearance is such that it won't get bumped. The manufacturer should update the model so that the on button is more recessed than it is currently. This device holds a charge for about a day of use, so I keep it charged overnight like a phone. It comes with its own cable, which allows you to connect it to your laptop, but to connect it directly to a wall socket, you need one of those USB wall socket plugs (the kind that comes with your phone).
We have been using our PureZone Mini Portable Air Purifier quite a bit, and honestly it has been wonderful. We have taken it on several trips, including cross-country air travel, and placed it between our seats or on the tray table. Once in a while, it has tumbled off the chair and hit the floor, but it keeps on working. The battery has always lasted long enough to get us to our destination. We have also used it occasionally in crowded indoor spaces while also wearing masks. Additionally, on one occasion, when my wife contracted Covid, I carried the little filter around with me while we did our best to isolate from each other within our small apartment. We also have a larger air filter that we placed next to my wife while she was on the sofa. It's impossible to know what helps in the end, but anecdotally, while using this little filter during meals, along with masking and other mitigation efforts, I did not ever get sick myself. So we've been very grateful to have it.
I work in a cubicle in a large open area where lots of people wear lots of different types of body sents. I have horrible allergies that induce my asthma and perfumes/colognes are a HUGE trigger. I put this little guy on my desk on high and I can get through the day with only a small headache. Someone has actually sprayed a sent right behinds me while I was at lunch, from the door to my desk I was already coughing. After sitting at my desk with my air purifier the coughing stopped within a few moments. I haven’t had to change filters yet because it has only been a month but so far so good!!
This portable air purifier is small and eases my mind when I travel or commute. I like that it has 3 different settings with the slowest setting being quiet and the strongest setting having white noise, which has been helpful to have some white noises for baby to sleep while traveling.
I am not sure whether this is effective but it definitely eases my mind while using it in crowded areas since I have an infant who cannot wear a face mask yet.
I bought this portable HEPA air purifier to take on flights and use in airports and meeting rooms. It comes with a handle and a USB-C charging cable, and filter. It was easy to setup and charge - the filter has protective plastic that needs to be removed prior to use and there is a clear plastic tab to help remove it. It came partially charged and has three speeds - until I figured out how long it would work I used it on the lowest setting. It's hard to assess how effective it was, since I masked during my flights and while in the airport, but thus far, I've been COVID symptom free and with cold and flu season arriving, I felt better having something to filter air and push possible contaminants away from my face. It is lightweight and easy to install the filter as the bottom twist-locks into place, and it comes in a variety of colors. It is very quiet and inobtrusive while in use, especially around other electronic devices like microphones.
Some possible improvements would enable me to give it a 5-star rating - I have left it charging and a red status light seems to remain on no matter how long I charge it. It would be nice if the charging light turned off when it was fully charged. Second, the power/speed button can be easily engaged while it is in a backpack or purse, so an on/off switch or some other button lock would allow you to make sure it was not accidentally activated.
I am really satisfied with this product. I do wish it were cheaper, but it works very well and I haven’t had any problems. I like how there are three modes so I can control how loud it is. I like to attach a chain to it so that I can wear it around my neck during travel. Definitely will keep using it.
In my initial days with my purifier, I’m liking what I got. I love the size and the three different modes. I especially like that it’s rechargeable and doesn’t require batteries. It’s perfect for my workspace and I hope it helps with my ongoing allergies.
