I have troubles with holding things for a long time due to muscle weakness and joint pain so this was a wonderful find. It is very heavy duty and quality materials. Great for books, laptop, or anything you need to secure and have at eye level to prevent neck tension and pain. The bracket is very heavy, but rightfully so given the sturdiness it provides. I'm glad I went with the XL so I can use it for many different things. I would highly recommend this! You won't regret it! This only thing I did not expect nor like is if you tighten it too much it shaves off the coating on the bar, but if you do it any looser, it slowly slides down as you use it through the day.
This lovely item holds my PC laptop next to my desk chair while I am in front of my Mac. It is easy to keep a book if I want, and more. I can have two screens while doing digital artwork. It is excellent for that. I put this together myself. It took a bit of manipulation to get this situated. I am twisting a spiraling arm to accommodate my needs. It also adjusts with screwed-in knobs. It holds down by a screw-on base that can adapt to many thicknesses of desktops and other choices you desire. I thought it would ruin this non-wood desktop with pressure, especially the surface. It is fine. Sturdy and steady.
I think this is well-made, and since it does what I want, as I expected, and more, it is as advertised. This part of the item is bamboo that is quite heavy, and there are two clips on the thing I want to put into it. I thought at first that the computer would fall, but it is not doing that. I do not have a large PC laptop. Just average.
I have wiped it down with a cloth and some water, but a bit of soap will be fine; l be drying off afterward. This item is an excellent idea, being the other items I have had were resting on my lap. This item is a hands-free item, not encumbering me. There is much value here, so I expect to pay this price.
This item can be used for a music stand, large laptop, iPad, cell phone and note book. The base that supports the extension arms is well designed to fasten it to a wall or by the table clamp.
The extension arms can swivel back and forth. The one thing about doing that is the stand height will move downward on the stand tube. This is not good if you plan to move the arms out of the way a lot. What would have been nice is if Wishacc included a second collar for the stand tube to be fixed underneath the stand arm for support. That would keep the stand from moving downward and you could then swivel the arms all you want. If you find that you do not need to swivel the arms then this stand will work well for you and I would recommend it. This item includes the wrenches that you will need for the arm tension adjustments periodically because the bushings on the arms are not high quality and do have some play in them. Overall, this product has many uses as I mentioned above.
I have been looking for something to hold my laptop in the living room. I want to be able to use it while standing up. I thought this was the perfect solution. It is a well-made holder. It comes in three pieces with the hardware needed to put it together. It is simple to put the pieces together. You do need to be careful when putting the pipe on the clamp. I soon discovered that this would not work in my house. The clamp is very large. It measures 5” tall by 3.5” wide. I do not have a surface that can handle a clamp that size. It needs a desk, end table, or shelf that can handle the 2.5” depth (minimum). I am not sure why this item has such a large clamp. I like the versatility of the stand. This is a well-made item, but it will not work for me.
Because I’m working from home, I’m always looking for a way to get more desk space. I liked the idea of the book stand because it let me move to a smaller desk without losing the monitor. I had a little trouble at first getting it set up how I liked; I was expecting to be able to adjust in more ways than it was able. Once I figured out the setup though, I’m finding it really handy. I have a heavy laptop, so I was worried that the stand wouldn’t be able to handle it, but it is very secure.
I ordered this Wishacc multi-purpose mount holder to set my laptop, and I’m pleasantly surprise that it can also hold my tablet, a book, or a paper notebook when I’m typing hand written notes from it, and even can hold music pages too. I like how adaptable it is, and that is easy to put together.
