To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we do not use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Really enjoyed the game for the SNES. Was excited for the remaster but bad decisions make this a tedious experience and ruins the entire remake.
2 player, easy mode are all locked by in game currency. You have to pay 3,000 coins to unlock easy and 10,000 coins for two player. Yes the much touted 2 player mode is locked. You’ll put several hours in before you can play with a friend. A far cry from the SNES 2 player out of the box.
You can’t lock direction when shooting which hurts over all game play.
The lives system is reminiscent of old NES games with mechanics to keep people from renting the game and completing it in a weekend.
What should have been a fantastic remaster is just a shell of what could have been. Very disappointing.
The game, which I found through youtube playthroughs of the original, doesnt have the multiplayer option at the start. Instead you have to beat the main story of the game, which kinda defeats the whole purpose of the game. Bought it thinking itd be fun for a friend and I to play through like we saw with the original, but instead incredibly disappointed with the final product.
