This is a great USB mic if you don’t have a lot of experience with audio, or if you’re just looking for something simple that doesn’t require a lot of time and/or technical knowledge to setup and use. The sound quality is on par with other condenser mic’s in this price range, but the addition of RGB lighting definitely makes this one stand out. Especially if you plan to have the mic visible on screen while streaming or recording. The build quality is very nice, and the fact that it comes with its own pop filter and shock mount really adds great value for this price. Pros: - Sound quality - Simple RGB lighting - Simple “plug & play” setup - Simple touch mute button on top - Included pop filter and shock mount - On-mic volume controls - Light enough to suit any boom - Great price point Cons: - Can be a little on the sensitive side - Occasionally adds a slight digital sound to your voice
This is the best quality mic I have so far but I am not a recording person, just wanted to use it on zoom and also for some non professional videos. The lights are just great. The sound is very good but you need it to be quite when using otherwise as even light background noise is picked up some. You'll love the way it looks and recording is better than average at this price range. I found that I have to be very close to the mic without touching it for the best sound.
**Update** the company did reach out to me in regards of my review and have asked me more questions about it and their product. They sent me a newer model and that one is by far superior than this one. It still has the touch to mute and is a bit more reactive than the one here, but still has its flaws. The quality is by far better than the previous. Customer service 5/5.
The audio quality isn’t perfect by ANY means but it is better than the white snowball. The mute on top really has to be pressed to actually mute and unmute. I’m giving it a 3 star because I had to FIGHT to get the mic off the stand so I can put the mic on an arm. The bolt on the other side didn’t want to budge at all. I finally freed it and it sits nicely on an arm to mount to your desk.
I was interested in this mic primarily to do voice overs for screen grab videos. I tried it both on Mac and Windows but I tested the voice over capabilities only my my Mac.
The mic arrives in a well packaged box. The instructions were minimal but given that this is plug and play, there isn't much need for instructions since the mic is assembled and ready to use. Plug the provided USB cable to mic and the computer and the mic was quickly recognized. Of course you need to adjust the settings in your audio configuration panel. The only item in the box I could not quickly figure out was an adapter (see picture). It stumped me a while but I finally realized it was an adapter to attach the mic to a boom or other stand instead of the provide desktop stand.
There is a soft touch mute button on the top of the mic. The multi-colored LED lights are not necessary in my opinion. A simple one color LED would suffice to indicate mic on/off. The mic is somewhat sensitive to background noise. For example, I had a Dyson fan on a low setting about 8 feet behind me and the fan noise was still picked up despite my best effort to reduce the gain to eliminate it.
I did several successful voice over recordings and was happy with the result. I would recommend this mic for casual use. I'm not sure it's the best option for professional podcast, webcast or high quality recording needs. For my use case, the mic performed good enough.
I could not figure out how to utilize the microphone with my PS4, on twitch 😭 . Tried it connected to the ps4 directly, with the controller, nada 😵💫 . It sounds so perfect on my phone though, and makes me want to practice singing again 😅☺️ . The quality it top tier, for the price
4.0 out of 5 starsUsing for audio recording, and works nicely

My kids often do videos on our iMac, and a previous mic we had broke. While they're not using this for gaming, they've found it work nicely for them. The mic has a standard USB-A connection, but then does include an adapter for USB-A to a USB-C connection, which is handy. On our iMac, running Monterey 12.5.1, it was able to recognize the mic on both ports instantly after being plugged in. No software needed, and the Mac showed it as an input option in system preferences. It lights up, as shown on the listing, various colors. My kids think it's cool, but, of course, it doesn't really provide any function sort of for show. The volume controls on the side work well. On our Mac, of course, it doesn't reflect a change in the actual system volume by adjusting those. It adjusts the input into the Mac.
It comes in a fairly large box, and is well protected. Has an owners manual, the mic, stand, USB cable, USB-A to USB-C adapter, and parts for the shock mount. My daughters use the stand, so we haven't used the shock mount portion, as we don't have a boom to connect it to.
Sound quality wise is perfect for their videos. It's, by no means, a super professional mic, but it does a good enough job for a $50 mic, especially in comparison to the built-in mic on the iMac. My kids have been happy with it, so it's suiting our purposes nicely. Hopefully it lasts, as the last one mic (not the same brand) worked for about 6 months before failing to work.
This is a nice microphone for being a more budget priced model. The microphone lights up with multiple colors when active, and goes dark when muting it to give a visual reference you have muted it. The sound quality is decent, though I find I have to turn the sensitivity up a bit in order to pickup normal talking levels if more than a couple inches from the microphone. This then picks up typing and mouse clicks too, so I wish it had some sound isolation to it. If it did that I could give it 5 stars for its category, but with this you will have to watch out for background noise if you don’t want to be almost touching the microphone screen.
I’m pleased with this microphone. Pretty basic setup, it comes with everything needed to work out of the box. I liked the usb-c adapter with the standard cable. It is plug and play as advertised. My PC had no issues detecting it; I was able to get right into Discord and fire it up.
Volume knobs and headphone jack are right there, and a gentle press on the top is all that is needed to mute. Note that a long press of the button only turns off the light, it does not mute, which can make for an awkward hot-mic situation if you aren’t aware of that functionality. A dedicated mute button would’ve been better. The sound is clear — much better than the microphone headsets I’ve been using all these years. The rotating color scheme is cool, too. Overall, this is a solid mic.
4.0 out of 5 starsGreat quality but I get an echo when using a headset

Terrific pick up! It picks up every word I say and even some background noise. I used it on discord and I was so clear I heard myself back in my own headset, so that is the only down side. I’m not sure if that’s my headset or the microphone but my other gaming mic picks up my voice without transmitting it back into my head.
This has a volume button for the mic and the headset you plug in. It has an adjustable stand too. Overall nice but since I can’t figure out how to stop the echo I can’t use it every day. Maybe for recordings but not for daily use for my gaming and discord usage.
